One way to install is to covert the rpm’s to deb packages then install the deb packages. Here is how-to
First install alien
sudo apt-get install alien
then download the rpm packages to Desktop
Gyach-Enhanced-pYVoiceChat-1.0.7-1-i586.rpm
Gyach-Enhanced-Encryption-Plugins-0.2-1.i586.rpm
Gyach-Enhanced-Media-Package-0.2-1.i586.rpm
Gyach-Enhanced-XMMS-Plugin-0.4-1.i586.rpm
Then change directory to Desktop
sudo alien -d Gyach-Enhanced-pYVoiceChat-1.0.7-1.i586.rpm Gyach-Enhanced-Encryption-Plugins-0.2-1.i586.rpm Gyach-Enhanced-Media-Package-0.2-1.i586.rpm Gyach-Enhanced-XMMS-Plugin-0.4-1.i586.rpm
then install packages
sudo dpkg -i gyach-enhanced-pyvoicechat_1.0.7-2_i386.deb
sudo dpkg -i gyach-enhanced-encryption-plugins_0.2-2_i386.deb
sudo dpkg -i gyach-enhanced-media-package_0.2-2_i386.deb
sudo dpkg -i gyach-enhanced-xmms-plugin_0.4-2_i386.deb
if there is an error about missing library libexpat.so.0
cd /usr/lib
sudo ln -s libexpat.so libexpat.so.0
Thi shas the advantage that you haven’t deleted anything from your system. If the version of libexpat changes, you don’t have to do anything. libexpat.so.1 itself is a symbolic link to /usr/lib/libexpat.so.1.5.2 So you should be able to rely on Ubuntu taking care of things.
Start using
$gyach

Navigate to System>About Ubuntu
Ubuntu is a South African ethical ideology focusing on
people’s allegiances and relations with each other. The
word comes from the Zulu and Xhosa languages. Ubuntu
(pronounced “oo-BOON-too”) is seen as a
traditional African concept, is regarded as one of the
founding principles of the new republic of South Africa
and is connected to the idea of an African Renaissance.
A rough translation of the principle of Ubuntu is
“humanity towards others”. Another
translation could be: “the belief in a
universal bond of sharing that connects all
humanity”.
“A person with ubuntu is open and available to others, affirming of others, does not feel threatened that others are able and good, for he or she has a proper self-assurance that comes from knowing that he or she belongs in a greater whole and is diminished when others are humiliated or diminished, when others are tortured or oppressed.”
